Jorge Hernandez has been officiating weddings for more than ten years. It started informally, almost as a joke, and grew into a real business and a team of four officiants serving couples across California’s Central Valley. Until early 2026 we were Seal the Deal Officiant. We’re grateful to every couple, venue, and vendor who helped us get here.
On your wedding day, we want to be the calm, prepared people in the room. We listen to both of your stories, write a ceremony that sounds like you, and take as much off your plate as we can, all the way until your marriage license is processed.

Every Couple Is Welcome
We believe love deserves to be celebrated in all its forms. We warmly welcome couples of all backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs. Our ceremonies are non-religious by default, but we're happy to incorporate prayers, meaningful readings, and cultural traditions that reflect who you are as a couple.
Calm when it counts
Every wedding has a surprise or two. We show up early and roll with changes. Afterward, we submit your license within two business days and let you know when it’s processed.

Jorge Hernandez
Owner & Lead Officiant
Jorge is the owner and lead officiant of Amor and Vows. With more than ten years of experience, he’s fun, familiar, and caring, and he’s good at helping couples feel at ease in front of the people they love. His favorite part is becoming part of a different family for thirty minutes. Married for over twelve years and a dad of three girls, Jorge also loves competitive trading card games.
Jerson Perez
Lead Associate Officiant
Jerson is our lead associate officiant and the first officiant to join Jorge’s team. He’s comforting and funny, and he helps couples relax and enjoy the moment. He especially loves personal vows and the little details that make each couple different. Away from ceremonies, he is a proud cat dad to Casper and Theo.
Sarahi Hernandez
Wedding Officiant
Sarahi is a warm, joyful officiant who makes every ceremony feel personal. A teacher and Jorge’s younger sister, she cares a lot about making couples and their loved ones feel included. She loves nature-filled ceremony spaces and the moment she gets to introduce a newly married couple. Fair warning: she is quietly hoping your pet joins the celebration.
David Ochoa
Wedding Officiant
David is calm and down-to-earth, with a heartfelt way of leading a ceremony. A childhood friend of Jorge, he is known for his patience and loves sharing the couple’s story and hearing their vows. He reminds nervous couples that the feeling is part of a moment worth enjoying. David is married and a proud dad of three boys, which surprises just about everyone who meets him.
